Importance of Staging
#21 - 8288 No. 1 Road — Sold by Cindy
If you are thinking of selling your home, staging is something every homeowner should invest in. Whether your property is empty or filled with your personal belongings, we need to make sure your property outshines the other competitors. Aside from decluttering and renovations, effective staging can also assist in the sale of your property — perhaps for a higher sale price and quicker sale.
Just think about those pre-sale show rooms, don’t they look stunning? They never show an empty space, it is always fully decorated. This is is part of the marketing strategy to sell your home, it is about presenting your property in the best possible way with furniture, décors and lighting fixtures.
WHY STAGING?
First Impression
Imagine yourself walking into a space where everything just looks warm and inviting. It also gives you that cozy and comfy vibe, making you want to move-in. Leaving a strong and positive first impression is important. Our goal is to have the Buyers to see your property online and wanting to book a showing right away. Once they arrive, we also want the Buyers to remember how lovely your property is.
Hide Flaws
Sometimes a property is designed with an awkward layout, and you just don’t know how to arrange your furniture. To name a few: sharp angle, curved layout or small space. Having the right piece of furniture will really help the Buyer to visualize and understand your space better. Perhaps even to overlook these awkward space!
Adds Ambiance
This relates back to the first impression. Again, imagine yourself stepping into a dark and empty space with very little sunlight… you might not hate it, but it does not offer anything positive either. In this case, I would always remind the stager to add a lighting fixture, a warm colour tone painting and just some plants (artificial is fine) to really bring some liveliness to the space.
Results: Increase Value of Your Home & Quicker Sale
We now know staging helps to make your home look more appealing and hide flaws. This also leads to a higher chance of a potential Buyer wanting to see the home, and thus results in quicker sale and potentially increase the value of your property.
